You're ready to go beyond the poses. You sense there's deeper treasure in this tradition, but maybe you've felt intimidated by Sanskrit or worried you're not "scholarly enough." Let me say this clearly: your curiosity and sincere heart are all you need here.
You deserve the full inheritance of yoga—not just asana, but the philosophy, chanting, and meditation practices that can transform both your teaching and your life. This isn't about becoming a guru; it's about becoming confident in your authentic understanding.
This is designed for you—empathic teachers and serious practitioners who care deeply about honoring this tradition with both accuracy and heart. I translate complex concepts into accessible wisdom while preserving the beauty of the original teachings.
Through my podcast "A Woman's Gita" and years of advanced study, I've learned that the feminine perspective on these ancient texts has been missing. We're changing that together.
You won't feel like an imposter here. You'll feel excited to learn, supported in your questions, and confident in your growing understanding.
Hi, I’m Kamala Rose. I’ve spent over 30 years immersed in yoga — as a monastic, a teacher, a student of Sanskrit and philosophy, and most of all, a woman walking this path with heart. After decades in ashram life, I’m now devoted to sharing what I’ve learned in a more personal way — guiding women and yoga teachers into deeper connection with themselves, their practice, and the roots of yoga.
My work blends Vinyasa Krama, restorative movement, chanting, meditation, and the feminine wisdom of Yoga's Wisdom tradition. I believe in teaching from lived experience, honoring the tradition while making it feel spacious, embodied, and real.
Kamala Rose Yoga is my online home — a sacred space for spiritually mature women and yoga teachers who are ready to go deeper. Here, we slow down. We listen inward. We weave together practice, philosophy, and purpose in a way that feels nourishing and true.
Whether you’re here to reconnect with your practice, study the Gita through a feminine lens, or teach yoga with more confidence and integrity, I’m so glad you’ve found your way. This is a space for remembering who you are — through breath, wisdom, and your own unfolding path.
